  • Angelica

    That's this cutie's name.

Angelica is a beautiful little girl who needs your help.  She needs a family.

I've decided to be Angelica's designated 'Guardian Angel' until her Mommy finds her :) and you can be an angel for Angelica, too!

Reece's Rainbow helps orphaned children by raising Grant money for families who might otherwise not be able to raise the extraordinary amount needed to bring a child home.

At Christmas time, I helped precious Melanie to reach her $1000 goal.  I am still committed to sweet Melanie, but this fundraiser is for children on Reece's Rainbow who do not have Down syndrome.  "Other Angels", as they are called.

When I saw little Angelica for the first time, I knew I had to try to help her.

I also know that everyone is tapped out from the Christmas season, but I'm going to try anyway.  Even if I can't raise much, I tried.  And I will keep trying for these sweet orphans until I see them home.  (Despite the nasty comments I have received.)

Send a Love Note this Valentine's Day!   if you can.

If you donate $35 or more to Angelica through the Guardian Angel Project or the Valentine Love Notes, you will get this beautiful Guardian Angel Bracelet!  The inscription reads,

"Guardian Angels protect me, giving me strength when I might fall. Watching, guiding, lighting the way thru the night and every day."

But even a dollar is appreciated.

Most importantly, Angelica needs your prayers.

Please pray that her family will find her!

Your offering in prayer will certainly find her the funding for the family she deserves.

The information Reece's Rainbow has received about Angelica:

    Girl, born September 2009

Little Angelica was born with missing limbs.   She does have siblings, but they are not available to be adopted.

From her medical records:   phocomelia, otherwise is healthy.  There are no hidden diagnoses. Prostheses, most likely will need to be put on each year. From the observations of the psychologist: "The child possesses the qualities that have Olympic athletes: strong-willed and with a strong character.  The girl is sensitive, tender, affectionate and very independent."

From her Orphanage, October 2011:  Angelica is curious, active and since birth is well developed. The girl loves the individual attention of adults and games with peers. Angelica loves listening [to] music and fairy tales, roll the ball and play with the dolls.  Despite of the problems with hands, Angelica eats alone and [is] capable to take bread, toys with the available fingers. She walks with confidence. By nature, Angelica is calm, sociable and friendly girl. She speaks single words and knows that the cat says "Meow-Meow," and the dog-"woof-woof".

Thank you for your time and concern!

    Love, Heather
